About Me

Phillip Ennis

No matter where the business takes you, the principles of Real Estate are exactly the same:

  • The vendor wants to sell for as much as possible
  • The purchaser wants to pay as little as possible

The biggest difference between walking around a little terrace house in Northern England with an old tape measure in 1982 and walking around a 1000ac property is not just the price and size but the technology advances we have been submitted to, particularly in terms of internet exposure and quality of imagery.  I started off using an old Polaroid land camera and the local papers printed the property ads in black and white, now it's multi-megapixel images, drone shots and videos and world wide exposure

But there are certain things that have remained a constant:

  • regular and appropriate communication with vendors and purchasers
  • strong negotiating skills
  • professional marketing skills
My passion for achieving a successful result for my vendors is no less now than it was 30 years ago but the greatest satisfaction comes from repeat business and referrals.  There is little better than being asked to sell a property for someone who bought through you previously!

My involvement in the Real Estate Industry began in 1982 and includes a revisit to my old stomping ground of Sheffield, UK in 2006 when we, as a family, decided to have a belated gap year/working holiday.
